Upcoming Public Meetings

A public hearing on the State Rail Plan will be held in May at Union Station in Worcester. The date of the meeting is to be announced.

Five Regional Meetings Held

Five regional public stakeholder meetings were held in October and November 2008 to provide information on the Massachusetts Freight and Rail Plans being developed, and to receive input from stakeholders about needs and priorities. A summary report and presentation of each meeting is available on the Project Materials page.

Public meetings:

Four regional public meetings were held in late March, early April 2010 to present the draft Massachusetts Freight and Rail Plan developed by MassDOT's Office of Transportation Planning. A copy of each regional presentation is posted on this website. Meeting summaries will be posted as available.
